ABS Secure Portable Encrypted Backup Solutions
CMS recognized an urgent need to offer business users a safe way to transport sensitive data on an external backup drive. Our ABS Secure encrypted backup solutions offer powerful AES 256-bit data encryption in combination with powerful BounceBack Express backup management software. This solution enables corporate users to easily backup data and feel confident that if their external drive were lost or stolen, any information written to the drive is secure from prying eyes.

Backup Software with Built-in Encryption
CMS also introduced BounceBack Enterprise software with its patent pending split-key encryption technology allows users to secure sensitive data backups via Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128 and 256-bit encryption and a pass phrase. The primary benefit of split-key encryption over standard encryption is the ability maintain a “Custodian” encryption key. If the primary user of the backup device is unavailable, the custodian key can be entered and thereby decrypts the data. If the backup drive was lost or stolen, the person in receipt of the device would not be able to access the sensitive data stored on the device.
