You have made having to backup a very simple process. I now backup weekly or in some cases if I forget to do it, your on screen automatic message reminds me. As I am a traveling laptop user, your device has become invaluable. Thanks for a great & easy to use product!

We purchased several ABSplus drives to test as laptop backup systems for our executives. We were spending several hours a week (at $100/hr) for technology consultants to administer server-based backup for these employees. Since the purchase, we have not had to use consultants, and estimate our annual savings at over $10,000. The ABSplus has taken the stress of data loss out of my life. I already had a close encounter with a previous hard drive problem. At the time I was using a tape backup system that was a real pain to use. Consequently I didn't back up as often as I should have and was only able to restore from a year back. The ABSplus is a no brainer. Plug it in and let it do it's thing. Now I do weekly backups with hardly a thought.

One day my Mac froze. When I restarted I got a flashing question mark instead of a smiling Mac. I knew what it meant because it had happened to me once before. But this time, thanks to the ABSplus, I didn't lose my data, address book and programs when I reinitialized the system. I just booted from the disk, dragged the desktop 2 folder over and I was back in business.

The ABSplus is a lifesaver. I travel frequently and have most of my data on my laptop. Before every trip I backup my data. Now with all the increased security I'm always fearful of someone mistakenly taking my laptop instead of theirs or the possibility of dropping it during the security check. With ABSplus, I don't have the added stress of wondering how I'll get my data back if something like that happens. I wanted you to know I love (is that too strong a word) the CMS 1.5 TB Backup system you recommended. It came pre-configured for RAID+1 so installation & configuration was a snap – it was basically plug and go. I installed it this past weekend (had to wait until no one was going to be using the server because the installation required a restart) and am nothing but elated! I highly recommend this unit for server backups to anyone who cares about disaster recovery. And the price you gave us was nothing short of outstanding! Thanks again for your recommendation! This is impressive!

my computer had a problem two weeks ago, and had I not backed up my system with

My computer crashed yesterday. Blue screen of death. Couldn't even get to Safe Mode in windows. My backup system was at home, but our two local experts (and these guys are GOOD) worked on it all day trying to recover. Nothing. I went home certain that
nothing short of a new hard drive or complete reimage would work. But figured I would try using my Rescue Disk... It worked like a charm. I am still in shock as is everyone else in the office. I think we all figured that we'd be able to recover data, but not likely from a catastrophic failure. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

External v internal backup - external i leave in the office when i go on trips, if i get my laptop stolen it's still there when i get back. If it was an internal backup like a mirrored drive, if i lost my laptop i would lose the backup too !
plug in and it backs up ! it's that easy !
bootable - you stick it in your laptop and the laptop carries on like nothing has happened. Absolute winner !

When my computer crashed, I was so relieved to have CMS' ABS backup system protecting my data. It was a quick restore and nothing was lost. Later on I had difficulty with a hardware problem and when that was fixed, I was up and running in no time. I am somewhat technologicallly challanged and I still did it.

Our company has successfully used and relied on the CMS Products Bounce Back, back up system for over 4 years. We have more recently upgraded to the two drive RAID system and purchased a third drive to further protect our data by allowing us to swap out the drives and store our date off-site. In addition to securing our data this product has allowed for simplified transferring of data when upgrading our office computers/hardware. It’s a superior solution.
